Brooke Hunter Therapy

Life is unpredictable.  Even changes we choose for ourselves—like switching jobs, going through a breakup, or stepping into parenthood—can leave us feeling overwhelmed and out of sync with ourselves and the world around us. This is where therapy can be profoundly beneficial. It's a tool for regaining control, understanding ourselves better, and navigating life's challenges with resilience.

At Brooke Hunter Therapy, I deeply value each individual's unique experiences. My aim is to collaborate with my clients, helping them enhance their relationships, cope with uncertainty, and develop effective problem-solving skills. I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness, tailoring my methods to suit each client's specific needs.

One area of specialization for me is Maternal Mental health. Parenthood brings its own set of joys and challenges, and I am dedicated to supporting individuals through this journey. As a mother myself, I know what it is like to need support and not know where to turn.  I create an accessible, non-judgmental space to be heard, understood, and supported.  I have advanced training in maternal mental health, including perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, perinatal loss and grief, and infertility.

Central to my practice is the creation of a comfortable and collaborative therapeutic space, where clients feel empowered to make positive changes and work towards their goals. I offer in-person and telehealth services to clients in New York and New Jersey, ensuring accessibility and convenience in seeking support.
